Admission Criteria for B.A

 

A- Students with a High School Diploma

1. Obtaining a Jordanian high school diploma or its equivalent.

2. The student's average in high school should not be less than the minimum requirement to study their chosen major.

3. Non-Jordanian students can be accepted as an exception from the average requirement, with a maximum of 15 marks less than the permissible admission rates, and 25% of the total capacity for the specialization.

 

B. Students holding an Intermediate Diploma and intending to complete their B.A:

 

1. Students (from inside Jordan) who wish to graduate with a B.A are accepted, and holders of the Community College Diploma (comprehensive) with a grade of no less than (68%) in the field of energy technology, with the exception of engineering majors that are not less than (70%), 50% of credit hours will be transferred, except for courses with a grade of 60% or less.

2. Students (from outside Jordan) who wish to graduate with a B.A and who hold a diploma from community colleges are accepted, provided that the university is provided with an official letter from the Ministry of Higher Education of the student's country, or from the student's country's embassy in Jordan, stating that the diploma qualifies its holder to continue his university education at the bachelor's level in his country. Alternatively, the student may opt to obtain an equivalent diploma from the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education. 50% of credit hours will be transferred, except for courses with a grade of 60% or less, except for the specialty of pharmacy, the percentage is 25% of credit hours, except for courses with a grade of 60% or less.

 

Second: Required documents for the B.A program for:

 

A. Students who obtained a high school diploma:

 

1. A transcript of Jordanian high school diplomas or their equivalent, duly certified (Arabic, English).

2. Equivalence of a high school diploma for students of foreign certificates, or Arab-Arab certificates that need equivalency from the Ministry of Education.

3. A copy of the official document (Identification card for Jordanians, passport for non-Jordanians).

4. (1) personal photo.

5. Non-Jordanian students should review their country's cultural attachés in Jordan, to provide the university with a letter of no objection to study at the university, as is required of some nationalities.

 

B. Students holding a diploma:

 

1. A transcript of Jordanian high school diplomas or their equivalent, duly certified (Arabic, English).

2. Equivalence of high school diplomas for students of foreign certificates, or Arab certificates that need equivalency from the Ministry of Education.

3. A copy of the official document (civil status identity for Jordanians, passport for non-Jordanians).

4. (1) personal photo.

5. The comprehensive exam, certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

6. Diploma transcript, certified by the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

7. If the diploma certificate was issued outside of Jordan and there is nothing corresponding to the student's specialization in the diploma, the university must be provided with an official letter from the Ministry of Higher Education in the country from which the certificate was issued, or from the embassy of this country in Jordan, stating that the diploma qualifies its holder to continue His university education at the bachelor's level in his country, except for students with Jordanian nationality, who must be equivalent to a diploma from the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education.
