About the Department
The Department of Engineering offers two bachelor’s programs—Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Engineering and Renewable Energy Technology—and four diploma programs: Electrical Power Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, and Maintenance of Electric & Hybrid Vehicles.
The department is the first in Jordan to launch rare, previously unavailable specializations such as Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Engineering. It has graduated its first cohort into the labor market—pioneers and leaders in this field.
The department provides a distinctive learning environment that focuses on connecting theory with real-world practice through field visits, hands-on projects, and market-driven courses. Its goal is to graduate highly competent professionals and create strong employment opportunities for them.
