About the Program

A hands-on program that prepares technicians to install, operate, and maintain electrical power systems across generation, transmission, and distribution—aligned with safety standards and strong industry-focused training.

  • Electrical fundamentals, circuits, and measurements.

  • Power plants components (diesel/gas/steam) and grid interconnection.

  • LV/MV equipment: power transformers, switchboards, protection breakers (MCB/MCCB/ACB), isolators.

  • Transmission & Distribution: overhead lines/underground cables, voltage drop, short-circuit calculations, protection coordination.

  • Electrical installations for buildings: load estimation, cable sizing, grounding & lightning per IEC/NEC.

  • Electric motors, VFDs, motor starting/protection.

    Admission Requirements

    • Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or an equivalent certificate.
    • Minimum Tawjihi average: 50% or above for Jordanian students.
    • Compliance with Ministry of Higher Education streams and admission policies.
