About the Program

A hands-on program that equips students to design, install, operate, and maintain renewable energy systems (solar PV, wind, bioenergy, geothermal), with practical training for strong employability.

Skills & Learning Outcomes

  • Electrical fundamentals, power, and measurements.

  • Solar PV system design (load calculations, component sizing, tilt/shading).

  • Small wind systems: site assessment, tower and turbine selection.

  • Inverters, charge controllers, protection boards, on/off-grid integration.

  • Energy storage solutions (lead-acid/Li-ion, BMS, charge/discharge cycles).

  • Electrical safety; basics of IEC/NEC requirements.

  • Modeling & monitoring (intro to SCADA/IoT).

Career Paths

  • Renewable energy systems sales.
  • Environmental & climate change studies.
  • Energy storage (battery) solutions.
  • International environmental organizations.
  • Environmental auditing.
  • PV/Wind installation & maintenance technician.

Admission Requirements
