
About the Program
A hands-on program preparing technicians to operate conventional X-ray systems and handle introductory principles of CT and MRI, with strong emphasis on patient safety, radiation protection, positioning, quality assurance (QA/QC), and image management via PACS/RIS.
Skills & Learning Outcomes

Radiographic positioning for major anatomical regions and proper patient setup.

Operation of X-ray units; adjusting kVp/mAs, image quality factors, and dose reduction.

Introductory CT/MRI concepts (basic protocols, patient preparation, general safety).

Radiation protection: shielding, controlled areas, dose limits, ALARA principles.

Routine QA/QC checks and basic troubleshooting/reporting.

Admission Requirements
- Jordanian General Secondary Education Certificate (Tawjihi) or an equivalent certificate.
- Minimum Tawjihi average: 50% or above for Jordanian students.
- Compliance with Ministry of Higher Education streams and admission policies.
